Recently, with all the shifts happening this summer, I had to up my game. The things I used to do weren't working anymore. I found myself living in old patterns, fears and roadblocks;  something had to give. My body was swollen, tired and out of sorts. I was grumpy, what was the deal?

Recently, with all the shifts happening this summer, I had to up my game. The things I used to do weren't working anymore. I found myself living in old patterns, fears and roadblocks; something had to give. My body was swollen, tired and out of sorts. I was grumpy, what was the deal?


PERSONAL STORY: so last July, I found myself in a large emotional tsunami that I realize now I was trying to avoid. So many years of resentment, anger, frustration and the general fatigue of being an adult was taking its toll...I wondered aloud to Spirit, what can I possibly do to work through this? Letting myself be guided (because I was at my rock bottom and legit out of answers), I literally, fully & completely surrendered to the Universe. I started to wander around my property in my bare feet and low and behold landed at the base of a magnificent tree. AND THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC BEGAN.


As I sat beneath her cascading, graceful yet sturdy branches, I inhaled the grounding scents of earth, pine needles and woods & I could sense I was recalibrating. So, fast forward to today, please meet my new therapist. I've been making a point to sit with her daily with my bare feet on the ground. I call her Anna (whether it's insane or not to name your trees IDK, but I feel we have a closer bond). I talk to her, spill my beans, chill out, and we exchange support. I usually walk around on the grass and spend at least 1 hour morning and night with my new practice, and what a difference it's made in my own trauma relief; tree therapy I will happily continue!


Studies have shown that even 30 minutes a day can increase immunity significantly. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll be amazed! Xoxo
